Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Today Pane to show Events and Tasks
2. Adjust task part of today pane to a custom height
3. Close Thunderbird
4. Re-open Thunderbird

Actual results:

Today Pane Task section height is not preserved

Expected results:

Today Pane Task section should be restored to the custom height.

Thanks. In Daily 114.0a1 (2023-04-17) (64-bit) and Beta 113.0b2 (64-bit), Win10, I cannot even drag the splitter at all (new bug).
Your screenshot of attachment 9325828 [details] doesn't seem to match your description, because you haven't actually changed the size of the sections, but the vertical window size.

This is completely unrelated to supernova since the today pane still uses the old xul layout and splitters.
This issue is probably a flexbox regression from m-c.

I can't reproduce this as we might have fixed it during our flexbox regressions hunt.

Thomas, I handn't changed the window size, I only took a screenshot of the task section header (I left out the task content area for privacy purposes.

I can still reproduce this on v1114.0b4 .
After changing the custom height of the task/event area, then closing thunderbird and reopening, the change is not preserved.

Hello,

I can confirm this is an issue in 115.2.3 running on Ubuntu 22.04. Not sure if the following helps: I have noticed that the heights of both panels, i.e. #agenda-panel and #todo-tab-panel are being stored in xulstore.json and restored to the element, however, they are not being applied to the styling so the skin css height of 40% is applied. I will attach images which show the html from developer tools inspector.
