STR:

1. Directly open a youtube video that is not muted in a new tab so it does not autoplay by default.
2. Press the PiP keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+].
3. Click the PiP address bar toggle.

Expected:
The keyboard shortcut and address bar toggle both function the same.

Actual:
The keyboard shortcut does not open a PiP window but the address bar toggle does.

Could you elaborate on the actual and expected?

I followed the STR and after opening a PiP window with the shortcut, I click the url bar toggle and it closes the PiP window.
When I open with the url bar toggle, I am able to close the PiP window with the shortcut.

Are you experiencing different results?

I can't find a way to reproduce this anymore, the keyboard shortcut opens the PiP window as expected in step 2. Possibly a youtube experiment, closing for now.
