User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/111.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Tools/Remove Duplicates
Actual results:
In a folder which contains duplicate emails, when the window opens, it only shows one line, if that, of duplicate emails. You can use the Up/Down chevrons to scroll but never enough to make any sense.
Expected results:
The window box could be dragged/expanded to show the list of duplicate emails.
Also, if memory serves, right clicking on a folder also presented an option to 'Remove Duplicates' but that might only be wishful thinking.

Jonathon, TB does not have this functionality, you must be using an add-on, which is probably causing this. Please contact the add-on author.
John (:tbsync), if there's no reason to assume that this might be caused by a broken API or some such on the Thunderbird side which we should fix, you can close this as "invalid".

The add-on in question is not compatible with TB 112 (which is the filed version number of this bug). It is only compatible with TB 103:
https://addons.thunderbird.net/addon/removedupes/versions/
I consider this report as invalid. The author of said add-on can contact us through our community channels, so we can help him to resolve the issue (which is seen in TB 112) for its users:
https://developer.thunderbird.net/add-ons/community
If we then learn of an API bug, a dedicated bug for that API issue can be filed.

Hi Thomas, I have NEVER used addons, nor ever will.
The software should be functional enough not to require addons.
Thanks
