Starting with Thunderbird 111 "Supernova", you can now focus the columns with the keyboard and move them if necessary. This should also be included in the message search, so that the display is consistent and the columns can also be reordered by screen reader users.

Right clicking message headers in the list of search results does not allow reordering and hiding individual columns so I can't say if this is really a bug. Is this list supposed to be configurable at all?
I can move and reorder the columns using an NVDA addon. I would count it as a bug or I have entered it as a suggestion.

Do you mean the traditional search window (Ctrl+Shitf+F) ? That is still using the old xul tree widget - but will eventually once there's time to put in the legwork.

Yes this is with ctrl+shift+f search dialog. It's good to know it's planned to move to the new message list.

Hey Peter, the message list of search results is fully configurable in Daily 114.0a1 (2023-04-17) (64-bit), as well as TB 102.10.0 (64-bit), but the configuration isn't keyboard accessible. With mouse, you can drag columns by their column headers. You can also show/hide columns using column picker on the far right corner of column headers.
