User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0
Steps to reproduce:
Installed GTK theme other than Adwaita (i.e. 'Colloid-grey').
Set "Use system theme" in Firefox.
Switched to dark mode via gsettings.
Switched back to light mode.
Actual results:
Tab color remained dark when running in Wayland. Tab color switched to light when running in xwayland. With Adwaita in Wayland and xwayland tab color is changed correctly.
Expected results:
Tab color should be light if light gtk theme is used no matter if running in wayland or xwayland.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Switched to dark mode via gsettings.
Can you provide the command that you run for this? gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface color-scheme 'prefer-dark'
? Something else?

I couldn't repro this at a glance. Which desktop environment are you on? It seems we can't detect it:
"desktopEnvironment": "",
In gnome and KDE this seems to work just fine, will attach a screencast in a bit.
