User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/112.0
Steps to reproduce:
I have an old G Suite email account configured in Thunderbird that has been deactivated/deleted since the time I added it to the app.
Now I simply want to keep offline copies of the emails that I have on my computer, but every time I click on a folder, such as Inbox, Thunderbird attempts to fetch new emails from the server and opens a Google login window, whch is just a waste of time because I can't log in anymore.
I'd like to tell Thunderbird to never sync any future emails from for this particular acocunt, but there appears to be no way for doing so in account settings. I've alerady turned off the following settings :
- Check for new messages at startup
- Check for new messages every N minutes
But as I mentioned, that seems to be not enough, and Thunderbird keeps trying to sync. I think that there should be a checkbox to completely turn off synchronization, e.g. when clicking on a folder or going into offline mode.
