Steps to reproduce:
Open main window
Actual results:
Not sure if W7 is going to be supported in the final release, but as of right now the minimum requirement is W7. Issue seems to be exclusive to W7 due to it being the only supported version of Windows that has the transparent aero glass interface.
The main titlebar has a grey fog that obstructs the window controls. They are still clickable, it's just really ugly.
Expected results:
No grey fog. Nice sunny day in thunderbird land.

Richard, if you want and if it's worth it...

I don't see this issue on my Win 7 VM. The caption buttons aren't covered by the fog.
Mike, can you try to change the HW acceleration setting in Settings/General at the bottom?
Thanks for looking Richard. Can confirm disabling hw acceleration corrects the layering issue. I have an Nvidia video card and just tried it on another computer that just has Intel integrated graphics and the issue still remains so at least I don't just have an unlucky machine here

Thanks Mike for the feedback. I close this because we can't fix (or work around) GFX driver issues.
