When viewing a PDF file, when users click "Open in app" button allow user to open the file on third party PDF readers.

On this ticket, we were adding the functionality for handling how the "Open in app" button should behave, the lives in the PDF viewer, it will be added on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1829367, more details can be found on the mockups.

  • Nightly 115.0a1 (2023-05-11)

Testing notes:

  • I used multiple external pdf apps in order to test the new "Open in app" button. No issues were found. Verified as fixed.
