The folder icons don't seem to be styled properly in the submenus of the main menu bar.
I noticed this on macOS primarily, not sure if it happens in other platforms.

Micah, can you take care of this?

Unrelated to sn-3pane, says Richard (:Paenglab) - more likely limitations of native Mac menus.

Summary: Missing style for icons in main menu → Missing style for `Move/Copy to` folder icons in main menu on Mac
Whiteboard: [snnot3p]

Like Thomas wrote, this is an issue of the native Mac menus. I could create a patch that enables widget.macos.native-context-menus and fixes some small align issues. Then at least the icons in context menus look correct and the tags colours are shown.
