Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Firefox (at least version 113.0 stable, which is set to be officially released today and rolled out to everyone).
- Go to any website that lets you watch a video, for example here: https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/gtv-videos-bucket/sample/BigBuckBunny.mp4
- Switch the video to fullscreen mode (or, alternatively, press F11 on the keyboard to switch the entire browser window to fullscreen mode instead).
- See what is described in the "Actual results" section.
Actual results:
Once the video is in fullscreen mode, it no longer takes up the entire screen space, causing the Firefox window elements, along with the open web page, to show through at all 4 edges of the screen (see attached screenshot).
Expected results:
A fullscreen video should take up all available screen space as it was before bug 1823284 landed and was uplifted to the beta channel (in the 113.0b9 cycle).
I'm aware that this issue has already been fixed in bug 1830721, but unlike the regressor, bug 1823284, the bugfix has NOT been uplifted to beta/release.
Bearing in mind that this seems to be a pretty serious issue that affects not only Windows 7 users, as previously thought, but also Windows 8.1 users like me doing any action that results in the browser going into fullscreen mode (with YouTube being the hardest hit here), I would really appreciate it if the bugfix from bug 1830721 was also uplifted to beta/release as soon as possible.

Thanks for reporting this issue! The fix should be in current beta (114) already.

Is there any chance to uplift the bugfix to 113.0/dot release so that all Windows 7/8.1 users don't have to wait a whole month for 114.0 to go stable?
I intentionally filed this bug, even though I knew this issue had already been fixed in version 114 (which is now in beta), in the hope of raising awareness that if no further action is taken, we all Windows 7/8.1 users will have to wait a whole month for this issue to be fixed.
