Steps to reproduce:

Created a preferred set of column headers in a parent folder
Tried both methods for propagating the choices from the parent to all children

Actual results:

Sometimes one or more children were changed
Often only the parent was changed but no children

Expected results:

The parent and all its children should have the same column headers

I think we have previous reports. But nobody can reproduce it.
