1833435 - Chat - Main Chat texts area is too narrow (Participants too wide), also doesn't remember new sizes for all three columns

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Thunderbird 115.0a1 (2023-05-16) (64-bit), Windows 10
2. Open/select Chat tab

BTW: I've seen this bad-width-problem with Thunderbird Release, Beta, and Trunk, as well as with using different Profiles, one of them completely new.

Actual results:

The default Conversations area is too narrow.
The default Chat texts area is too narrow.
The default Participants area is too wide.

After adjusting those widths and restarting Thunderbird, the widths are not remembered and revert back to the bad default widths.

Expected results:

1. The default widths should be better chosen.
2. The User adjusted widths should be remembered.

I'm fairly certain this is a duplicate of bug 1838483, which was fixed in Thunderbird 115.0b5. Please shout if you're still seeing this and we'll investigate more.
