:julienw/:nazim, what do you think about the effort/impact involved in doing this? For context, this bug is for integrating the profiler's profile comparison tool into our tools (alerts, mach perftest-tools, etc.).

Assigning for myself for now; the next step is to polish the scripts I have for running this locally and publish them somewhere. Then somebody (maybe me) can work on turning them into something that can run in CI.

hi Markus! does this still make sense for you to work on this?
given the work :animalan is doing and has done with the simpleperf stuff in Bug 1969490 perhaps this can be something to do in the coming months.

i am assuming the scope of this original bug is for all platforms and all profiles... instead we could start with just the simpleperf profiles from the startup tests now that we have Bug 1969490
