User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/16.4 Safari/605.1.15

Steps to reproduce:

Deleted last unread email from my inbox.

Actual results:

Email delated, scrollbar returned to the top, then rapidly scrolled back to the bottom.

Expected results:

Expected email to be deleted and list to simply move down one.

Ok, so this is more of an annoyance than a serious problem, but it's so distracting! Didn't used to do this before version 114 I think.

System is MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a)
Thunderbird is 114.0b3 (64-bit)

Thanks for reporting.
Should be fixed by bug 1833845, which should be in 114.0b4 soon.
