STR:

  • Make sure to be in Unified Folder mode and view your messages as threaded.
  • Collapse all the thread with \.
  • Switch folder and select the original folder again.

All the threads are expanded and the state is not remembered.

Collapse a thread, then change to any other folder, return to the original folder, all threads are expanded. Agree with the STR above. The expanded collapsed state should be retained.

This only happens if there's only one folder inside the unified inbox, AFAICT. I have a vague idea why.

I was on the right track. This function is the problem, it expands all of the threads for some reason, but I don't yet understand what that reason is. Doing nothing in the same function seems to work okay.

This has been fixed by something else as I can't reproduce it anymore.
