STR:
Press Alt
and open any one of the menus. Alternatively click on any of the drop-down menus in e.g. about:preferences#home
.
Expected Behavior:
Styling of the menus should closely follow that of the desktop environment.
Actual Behavior:
Unnecessary rounded corners and/or padding in menus that are at odds with the desktop environment (e.g. Xfce). Please don't force Windows 11/GNOME shenanigans onto Linux users who are desperately trying to escape them.

(In reply to bug 1828413 comment #1)
Thunderbird already does this to some extent.
I am sorry, but Thunderbird 102's styling is such a hot mess that I am actually on the verge of abandoning it. I have most certainly given up on fixing up all the userChrome.css breakages that it has caused.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Settings UI' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for filing, aoia7rz7l. I think this was intentional via bug 1828413. Is this an INVALID / WONTFIX, emilio?

It was intentional, yeah, see that bug. We have bug 1833124 on file to potentially improve this but it's a bit tricky. Curious, what GTK theme are you on? Generally XFCE uses plain Adwaita. And in Adwaita we want the rounded corners.
Yeah, I forgot that it does look slightly different by default on Debian. It's Manjaro xfce btw, so that would be Matcha-sea?
