I'm not knowledgeable enough about perfherder to say.

It might be, our backout caused a 2% improvement for eBay loadtime.
I'm also not sure if the confidence is high enough, eBay loadtime fluctuates more than 2% between tests.

Marked the alert and the defect as invalid. Seems like the actual culprit was the update to the ebay pageload recordings. Sorry for the confusion!
