I WANT TO SHUT THIS AUTOCOMPLETE OFF!!!! Sorry, it's had me a little, teensy
bit frustrated. There is no way to turn this stupid function off, in web forms
(e.g. Google). I know some people apparently like having the autocomplete dog
you every letter you type, but i for one find it incredibly irritating. This is
NOT a duplicate of bug 173565 ! It's not even really related. There needs to
be a preference to turn autocomplete off. In the meantime, if anyone can give
me a suggestion that WORKS to turn it off for good, I would kiss the ground you
walk on. Thanks!
for better pointer
