User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
Just upgraded from 102 to 115...
Basically subfolders of "Archives" folder are not visible in Unified view. What's more - there is no distinction for accounts in "Archives" folder (I have 2 accounts)
Actual results:
Basically subfolders of "Archives" folder are not visible in Unified view. What's more - there is no distinction for accounts in "Archives" folder (I have 2 accounts)

Expected results:
I should still see subfolders in Archives folder as well as accounts distinction.

Are you seeing this with 115.1.0 ?
Yes, Sent/Archives (and Junk) still lack opening chevron and account list.
(Maybe related, but I also have "Archive" Folder in Trash in one of the accounts in cursive with same subfolders as my main "Archives" (plural))

Would like to expand on this. This issue affects basically all folders, not just subfolders of archive. But I'm only seeing it on standard IMAP accounts like from my domain. GMail and Outlook.com seem unaffected.
Added attachment showing it.

@closetweeb Please file a new bug for your problem. Trying to deal with multiple issues in the same bug just adds complication.

@wojtek I'm confused about the folders in your account. Are the folders that appear twice under All Folders the same folder, or actually two folders? Could you right-click on the account name, then on "Subscribe…" and post a screen shot of the dialog that appears? (Enlarge it and expand any collapsed rows so that all of the folders are visible.) That may help figure out what is going wrong here.
Something else you could try is right-clicking on the Archives folder in Unified Folders, then on "Properties", then the button labelled "Choose…" to select the folders you want to appear. If that works, great, but you shouldn't have to do it so I'd still consider this a bug and want to solve it.

wojtek, please reply to questions in comment 5 when using the newest available version 115.
Also, if none of those help...
Does removing "smart mailboxes" help?
open the troubleshooting information on the help menu.
Click the show profile button
Close Thunderbird
Open the "mail" folder in the file manager window that opened.
Move (not delete) the folder named "smart mailboxes" out of the profile
Restart Thunderbird.

wojtek, we will need your feedback to make progress.
Sorry, slipped pass by me.
@wojtek I'm confused about the folders in your account. Are the folders that appear twice under All Folders the same folder, or actually two folders?
Those are two folders (there is an ongoing issue with mailbox.org, but I migrated off of it). However if it's the same or not is irrelevant here. The gist is that those "Archives" folders are not tied to "Archive" in Unified view.
Something else you could try is right-clicking on the Archives folder in Unified Folders, then on "Properties", then the button labelled "Choose…" to select the folders you want to appear. If that works, great, but you shouldn't have to do it so I'd still consider this a bug and want to solve it.
Yes, this worked but as you mentioned - it seems like a workaround.
Does removing "smart mailboxes" help?
Yes, it seems to resolve the issue and everything seems to be in the right place.
Though, being unable to use Unified view I just got used to "All folders" view so most likely I won't use it anymore :-)

As wojtek replied, reopening the bug (even if it's months ago) : so one can decide what to do with his answer and the bug status.

https://files.rpi.unir.se/f/77d4cc7adb124d318842/ fails
- Install https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/unified-folders-debugging/
- '''If you do not see the "Unified Folders" heading in the folder pane, then click on "..." next to "New messages", click "Folder Modes", enable an additional folder mode to force the "Unified Folders" heading to appear '''
- in the folder pane, next to the "Unified Folders" heading, click on ⋮ three vertical dots, do not do "Reset Unified Folders"
- click Debugging Info > click Copy to Clipboard and save the clipboard somewhere
- click Close.
- in the Unified Folders heading click on ⋮ three vertical dots, and do "Reset Unified Folders". (DO THIS LAST)
Does that help?

I think it was the same as attached.
As for the issue itself - I stopped using Unified View but I just checked it out and it seem to work OK now.
