Preconditions:
Set the browser.shopping.experience2023.enabled - TRUE
Set the browser.shopping.experience2023.optedIn - 1
Set the toolkit.shopping.useOHTTP - TRUE

Steps to reproduce

  1. Reach the Amazon.com website and search for nintendo switch.
  2. Select any product in order to reach the product details page.
  3. Click the Analyze reviews link from the Fakespot sidebar.
  4. Click back on the tab with the product details.
  5. Close the Fakespot analyzer Tab.
  6. Hit the back button from the product details page.
  7. Select the same product again.

Expected result

  • The "Analysis coming soon" message should be displayed.
  • After a few minutes have passed the Sidebar should still show the available cards.
  • If the user closed the Fakespot Analyzer tab before it could start we should show the "No Analysis for these reviews yet message and provide the link to analyze the reviews again"

Actual result

  • The Not enough reviews Error message is displayed.
  • The "Analysis coming soon" message is displayed for a very long time.

Please note that after 10 minutes or more the Sidebar Is populated with the available cards.

This was fixed by checking the current analysis status in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1851629.

This issue no longer occurs in our latest builds now that the Bug 1851629 has landed. Closing this issue as Works for Me.
