If you type the same keyworded-url in the Location field, it works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a bookmark "A" "http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=%s" with keyword "=" 2. type = 183935 in the location field it works 3. Make a new bookmark "B" with url "= 183935" (no keyword in the k. field) 4. Select B from the bookmarks menu Actual Results: Alert sheet, invalid URL Expected Results: Accept the keyworded-url

So you want bookmark keywords to be applied recursively? Why would you want to do that?

I don't want that, I just try to find 'strange' behaviors. See Bug 185985 comment 7 : "I think all URL fields must react in the same way, no matter where they are."

Using Chimera/2003021707, I confirm the error dialog is shown. I leave it up to Chimera's developers whether or not that's a problem, though.

WFM using 20050124 NB. We now accept any kind of bookmarks no matter what. We only show a shee if the url can't be found because it doesn't exist. Closing.
