We fail this WPT test:
https://wpt.fyi/results/css/css-grid/alignment/grid-content-alignment-second-pass-001.html
At first glance, I think we're failing to measure the content size of the vertical-writing-mode grid items, inside of a horizontal-writing-mode grid. This sounds like bug 1310551, but I think it's not quite the same as that bug.
Here, we're measuring the content as having a block-size (width) of ~1em (25px), but ultimately the content wraps to two lines, i.e. 2em (50px) and that's what the testcase is expecting the grid item's block-size (width) to be.
Based on the name of the test, I think the expectation here is that we first place the items into grid cells, and then re-measure the content size based on how those items flow into those cells, and then update the content-based sizing of the cells.
(Possibly the same underlying second-pass requirement as bug 1850139, though that bug's test is focused on percents going from unresolvable to resolvable which is slightly different.)
