Is it correct to edit Suite code? We believe that the only edit that should be made is in folderDisplay.js.
Even mailnews.js should be left untouched, or a comment "not used in Thunderbird" be added, see:

The suite/ parts are dead code. It doesn't matter if they are changed or not, but since the patch had included them we can remove from there as well.

TB don't use the suite/ code but SeaMonkey still does. Either way thanks for making the changes as we will take the patch for our next release, though will also follow-up with the removal of the unused strings (https://searchfox.org/comm-central/search?q=rememberLastMsg&path=suite%2Flocale&case=false&regexp=false)
