Attached image Actual behaviour

Steps to reproduce:

Opened Thunderbird, updated to latest beta version.

Actual results:

Found Menu Bar was below some of the controls menus.

Expected results:

Menu Bar should be the top of the toolbars.

I did take multiple screenshots but I can only attach one for some reason.

Also somewhat related, right clicking then selecting customise I can't move or reposition the menu bar or other toolbars, I just get taken to a screen where I can select which options I can have on the toolbar. As this is pretty much a full screen event you instinctively click the X in the top right which it turns out is Thunderbird itself, not just the new page that you are in.

Seems this has all been reworked and completely muddled up.

Bug 1822991 and duplicates.

Oh. Well several issues there then!

First off when adding this bug there was none of those duplicates or similar popped up.

Also, if I'm reading that correctly the developers of Thunderbird are saying that they aren't interested in keeping to the standard Windows UI/layout that has been around for 30 years, so they should really just drop the Windows version. I'm somewhat disappointed in this response of theirs.

Yes, many people have mentioned this.
If you want the 'Menu Bar' at the top then you will have to create and use 'userChrome.css'

I think Thunderbird/Mozilla and myself will have to part company here. Seems that many things that have been fine since pretty much v1 have now for no reason at all other than "because we can" have changed for the worse. Menu bar goes at the top, Thunderbird is 100% in the wrong here. The removal of buttons and changes to priority/placement with no option to keep the same layout is an arrogant attitude to have and not one I agree with.
