Steps to reproduce:
Debian sid/unstable with thunderbird 1:115.2.2-1 and gnome-shell 44.5-1
Switch to darkmode using the button in GNOME Shell.
Actual results:
Thunderbird also switch to darkmode, but the message window does not, and stays with white background and black font. Same when opening a message in a separate tab.
Expected results:
The message window area should have a black background and white font.
