In 'Message List Header' toolbar
Far right is the icon 'Message List display options'

• Click on 'Message List display options' icon

Actual Result:
The drop down menu list does not display within the Thunderbird window unless you are using the 'Maximised' window.

Expected:
The drop down list to appear within the Thunderbird window whether using window 'Maximised' or 'Restore down' option.

Image shows issue - I would expect the right side of drop down options to align with right side of Thunderbird window when window is using 'Restore down' .

Note: if Restored down window is moved to far right, so aligned with right side of screen then drop down list is displayed within confines of window.

Very minor visual tweak, I wouldn't consider this a bug but a request for enhancement.
We can change the location coordinates of that popup, but we set that location on purpose in order to not cover the message list when interacting with the popup menuitem.
I'm okay with changing it.
Sol, I'm assigning this to you with very low priority, something you can tackle if you have some down time.

Same thing occurs on the Message List/Thread Pane with the 'Select Columns to display' icon drop down list.
In 102* this was within the window, but in the beta its outside.
I could request a separate bug enhancement, if required.

Having landed prior to the 122 merge, this is already on beta.
