User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/117.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open TB.
- Go to Junk folder (pl: Niechciane)
- Right click on the folder.
Actual results:
No empty junk action.
Expected results:
Before update both Trash and Junk had the action. Latest update brings back the action for trash, but not for junk/spam.

Hm... Weird. I sometimes see it; sometimes I don't. I think it might be the case that the action is hidden when the folder is empty. And in some cases, the folder is not really empty (the state is cached, I assume, same as folder size). Sometimes I need to do a cleanup (PL: Porządkuj) to clear this cache.

That menu item is shown only if we detect that the selected folder has the proper Junk flag. https://searchfox.org/comm-central/rev/32b0b92e68ca0c4e9d13559fc98c3a9e60a9172b/mail/base/content/about3Pane.js#403
Which server are you using? Might be possible that your provider is refreshing the flags on that folder and temporarily removing it?

This is for Local folders (also happens for separate accounts, but I mainly use Local folders). The problem also occurs for Trash folder (I thought this was fixed, but it wasn't).
Oh, and I do not use IMAP. So spam folders are local even for separate accounts, so there should be no issue of TB recognizing the folder. I have all my emails stored locally and sorted into folders by various TB filters (you know, by mail, title, etc).
The problem seems to occur after I receive new emails that get moved to trash and spam/junk automatically. It happened just now again when I checked today's emails (attached screen from junk and trash context menu). This time cleanup (Porządkuj) doesn't help -- the action is still missing after cleanup. TB restart helped, but when I opened spam (viewed folder) the action was gone again.

Please try to reproduce without add-ons active (Help | Troubleshoot mode)

The bug comes with QuickFolders open. Not sure why would QuickFolders remove builtin items in builtin context menu though. Should extensions be able to do that? I mean adding itmes sure, but removing, not sure...

Thanks, please report it to the add-on author. We don't track add-on issues in bugzilla.

It has been reported to me (author of QuickFolders) but I do not currently add any context menu items with this Add-on. I used to have icon modification for Thunderbird 102 but I have to reimplement that. I think the best way for me to fund out would be to try and reproduce it in a Zoom session to get to the root of the problem.
If it was a CSS thing there would have to be a rule that affects #folderPaneContext-emptyJunk. Since I do replicate some of these commands in my own context menus, there is a chance that it is affected in some way. I have an issue on my github, please add all future comments there:
