Steps to reproduce:
Open Thunderbird after update
Actual results:
Surface looks like MS-Outlook.
If I would like the style I would use MS-Outlook but I there is no need that two programs the same work with the same surface.
You are working hard to loose your market.
No more donation from me.
There does it not help automatically to open the donation page.
Stop destroying Thunderbird!
Expected results:
Remove the shitty M$ style or provide the previous surface parallel.

Hello sachse.
Version 115 allows you to return original functions by adding or removing items from panes and toolbars.
- Right+click in the unified toolbar and pick customize, where all the former toolbar functions are available.
- Remove new items as you wish from the folder pane using the "..." at the top of the folder pane

my problem is not to find any buttons or configure it manually.
My problem is that the search an the buttons are over standard menu of the program.
The correct order is:
Main menu (File, Edit, ..., Help)
Iconbar and search
Tabs
Content
From top to bottom.
It would help if position of can be freely moved between top, under menu bar and bottom of the window.

This is not something that is going to get fixed.

This may work at the moemt but how long?
There have to be an option in the standard settings to customize the surface.
If this option is missing there is a fix outstanding!
