This ticket covers implementing the Search settings UX for Firefox Suggest. Like on Desktop, we'll have sliders for toggling sponsored and non-sponsored suggestions, and a button to learn more about Suggest. We’ll also need to reorganize the Firefox Suggest section in Search settings.

Verified as fixed on Nightly 120.0a1 from 10/20 with OnePlus A3000 (Android 6) and Motorola Moto G9 plus (Android 11).

Lina, do these UI changes warrant a mention in Fx 120's release notes? Are there new settings or changes we want to call out?

Hey Chris, that's a good question!
Only Nightly users, and users who are enrolled in the Nimbus experiment, will see the new suggestions and the three new Search settings ("Suggestions from Firefox", "Suggestions from sponsors", and the "Learn more" link) that we added. The majority of our users won't see them at all for now.
We did reorder the existing settings, and renamed "Manage search shortcuts" to "Manage alternative search engines", but didn't change any of their functionality.
Based on that, I'm not sure that this is relnote-worthy now—maybe when we roll it out eventually?—but WDYT?

In that case, we don't need a release note. We typically don't add release notes for features that are still in experiments or rollouts.
