Actual results:
The toolbar customize does not have 'separator' in the list. I liked that.

Interesting. This is 10 months old and I am on 115.13 on Linux now.
I just looked and I see it in the list of available items now.

I don't see a separator in 115, 128, or nightly. Can you post a screen shot of what you are seeing in customize?
I think it's a terminology issue (with my own self even).
It was reported "separator" and now I'm looking at the customize and see "flexible space".
After 10 months with no 'separator' I've learned to live with 'flexible space' being a substitute.
This should then be reopened. I don't see an option for that.
