Since about version 1.1 (I think :) the timing on animated GIFs and HTTP redirects in <meta> tags has been greatly accelerated. Animated GIFs will cycle through thier frames as fast as my machine will render the frames (which on this thing is pretty darn fast), and HTTP redirects in <meta> tags will kick in a soon as the page is fully loaded and rendered. The strange thing about the GIFs is that the accelerated frame rate seems to be aggravated by mouse movement. Note that this also applies to the spinner. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. No Steps, happens at all times Actual Results: Act like a crack monkey :) Expected Results: Taken some ritalin. :)

Adam, are you still seeing this behaviour with Mozilla 1.3?
Resolving due to lack of response from reporter please reopen if the problem persists with a new build of Mozilla
