Steps to reproduce

  1. Open demopage and select paste-image-data
  2. In another tab open the website
  3. Copy (right click->Copy image) image from the website in step 2
  4. Paste the image (CTRL+V) in the "Drop Stuff Here" window

Expected result

  • The returning result is "Matching"

Actual result

  • The returning result is "Not Matching"

Regression range

  • We'll search for the corresponding regression.

Additional notes

  • It can't be reproduced in Google Chrome or when pasting in Firefox tab an image copied from Chrome.

:epopescu, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?

The issue no longer persists in the latest Nightly 120.0a1 (2023-10-11) version on Windows 10 x64.
