1858900 - "Delete the current row" button (in the column) in message view is not working

Steps to reproduce:

I added the column on message list named "Delete the current row" (it has the trashbin icon").
8 times on 10 the button does not delete the message

Actual results:

If I click to delete the email, the button is unresponsive. I have noticed that if I delete an email on the account with the normal big button on taskbar or with the mouse right click (selecting the dropdown menu option), then the icon sometimes works and I can delete the email.
When I restart Thunderbird, the button is again unresponsive.

Expected results:

I click on the column button named "Delete the current row" and the email is deleted.

After many days of intensive use, I can say that the problem is mainly present in the unified inbox folder.
If I switch to individual inboxes it works normally, let's say 8 times out of 10.
But in the unified inbox, the only way to make it work is to first delete an email with the classic 'delete' button, then I can use the trash can icon in the columns...
