With bug 1843486 and bug 1856396, we added the ability to navigate the message list by keyboard and to identify which column has focus. We need to do user testing to confirm this is a good approach before continuing this work.
If fixes are needed, they can go in this bug or be created as other bugs.

Update:
manchen_0528 from bug 1843486 confirmed:
I tested this version and the table navigation works as expected
ali-savas is unavailable for testing right now.
Amir (bug 1844255) responded positively regarding the changes.
I'm closing this for now and we can open bugs if there are any problems. I haven't seen more bugs reported related to this. I would prefer more extensive testing, but there will be beta testing. I don't have enough users right now who are able to test this.
