Font size & line spacing in TB 115.3.2 has been changed for the worse and the fixes don't restore the original look.

Steps to reproduce:

I followed all the fixes and seem to have restored the font size but the line spacing is poor.

Actual results:

Line spacing alternates between squished and way too wide. The font size controls are simply bigger or smaller; would be nice if they were numeric.

Expected results:

Spacing such as appears at the bottom of this page would be nice, but I can't achieve it. It's pretty clear that many users are unhappy with the new defaults. It would be nice for the first fix to restore the old ones and provide a more precise way of adjusting them.

As today, Saturday OCT 14 is my first day with 115.3.2, as it probably is for many other users and because there are so many almost identical complaints, I hope that a remedy here is high priority.

3 Options - Compact - Default - Relaxed

Perhaps user is asking for a similar solution to the 'Font Size',
where 'Default' remain as is and increase/decrease to control vertical spacing in increments.

The font size controls are simply bigger or smaller; would be nice if they were numeric.

via Menu Bar:

  • View > Font Size > increase/decrease font size options

but no px size is specified, you just increase until happy with size, so knowing the size is not as important as knowing whatever size it is - it works for you.

But if you use the Menu app or really need to know what you ended up with...

  • Menu app icon > Font Size
    This specifies the actual px size that is currently selected.
