I have installed Mozilla 1.3a, downloaded from Mozilla.org. It is RedHat 8.0
build with Xft support, created by guys from Mozilla.org special for RedHat 8.

I has installed TTF fonts (from Windows XP) into my RedHat Linux. All programs
works with these fonts correctly. 
Mozilla 1.3a (also and 1.2.x) uses these fonts only in english code pages. I
tried to change settings in Edit/Preferences/Appearance/Fonts panel, but in
"Cyrillic" case I has choiche for only 3  fonts: 
serif/sun serif, Fixed and Platino Linotype. If I try to select "Western" case,
I see list of all installed  TrueType fonts.

Also I tried to change  options in  unix.js file:

pref("font.FreeType2.enable", true);

pref("font.directory.truetype.1", "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType");

But I don't have any improvements.

I downloaded Mozilla 1.3a without Xft support, but compiled also for RedHat 8.
I see all fonts in the list in Edit/Preferences/Appearance/Fonts panel in any
cases.

Also, if you do an fc-list do they show up in that list?
I try to use old version of Mozilla: 1.0.1. This version don't have any problems
with TrueType fonts in cyrillic mode.
