User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/119.0
Steps to reproduce:
MacOS "Monterey" v12.7, 64-bit)
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/119.0
Steps to re-create problem:
-
View -> Sidebar -> Bookmarks
-
Left-click (or right-click) on the NAME of a bookmark folder (i.e. directly on top of the folder name itself - NOT on the right arrow which expands the folder contents).
-
Left-click in the blank area where the folder name used to be.
-
Left-click (select) one of the bookmarks inside the (still blanked-out) folder.
Note:
See attached screenshot of bookmarks sidebar. Just below the folder named "dvorak_keyboard" is a blank spot where folder name "Firefox-related" has disappeared. However, the 3 bookmarks inside that folder are displayed.
Actual results:
-
Bookmarks sidebar is displayed.
-
The folder name DISAPPEARS - literally.
-
The folder contents (bookmarks) are displayed, but the folder name remains hidden (see attached screenshot).
-
Firefox navigates to the selected bookmark - and the folder name magically RE-appears.
Expected results:
The bookmark sidebar folder name should never disappear.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
