Steps to reproduce:

I have a number of search folders to organise my emails.
In one of these folders I am selecting a message
Press 'A' to archive it

Actual results:

The message moves to Archive, but:

• a new thread is created
• the thread is collapsed and the message subject underlined (indicating an unread message in the thread)
• expanding the thread reveals a copy of the initial message
• the copy of the message is 'read'

So there are a number of strange behaviors there

Expected results:

When pressing the 'A' key, the message moves to Archives
