User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/119.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select a message with a From: address without a display name. (An example of such address is outlined in red in the attached image).
  2. Click on the profile icon to the right of the address.

Thunderbird 115.4.1 (64-bit).

Actual results:

Nothing seems to happen.

Expected results:

The icon should turn blue.

FWIW, Thunderbird does add the address to the Address Book, it just doesn't indicate it with turning the icon blue.

Also, each subsequent click on the profile icon creates an address duplicate in the Address Book.
