Based on bug 186012 which I can't reproduce.
Open Prefs-Navigation-Home Page
Check Use SysPrefs
Open SysPrefs
Change Home Page URL
Quit/Close/Hide SysPref or Switch to Chimera from SysPref
- Chimera HP field is not updated.
- UNCheck and Check again Use SysPrefs, not yet updated
If it's too difficult to make a live-update, replace the checkbox by a button
"Get Values from SysPrefs".
It will be less user friendly, in current version each time you switch the
checkbox off, restaure the previous values entered by the user.
