Steps to reproduce:

Linux Mate 22.04.3 - TB 115.4.1 - veracrypt 1.26.7 (Other users report the same problem on Windows)
I use TB 115.4.1 but using it with encrypted folders in the virtual machine, in the last week, very often the program crashes, or slows down terribly or even freezes the operating system. A disaster because the indexes are lost and I sincerely hope no messages have been lost, but I cannot be sure of this given the frequency of the problem. Other users on forums report the same problem with the same very high frequency.
Please check and resolve it as a matter of urgency.

Expected results:

S.O. and tb don't block, Normal operating system and TB speed.

After last Ubuntu's update this problem , at moment, do not present in my VM. I don't know for othr user.
