Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/119.0
Steps to reproduce:
Sometimes, I'm not exactly sure why, Firefox seems to stop responding to click events in the website part of the app (the UI, like opening and closing new tabs still works).
When that happens clicking on links does nothing, same with clicking on a dialog button.
I'm running FF 119.0.1 on macOS 14.1
I know this is not the most helpful bug report out there since I can not tell you WHY it happens, I just wanted to make sure you are aware that it happens.
Actual results:
I can always click links
Expected results:
Clicking links does nothing

I am not able to reproduce on Mac 14.1 using FF build 119.0.1 either. All links and pop-ups open without issues.
Kai, is there a specific build that is not opening? Also can you please try and see if this also happen with a new and empty profile? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile
Thank you.

That's the thing, it doesn't happen consitently, it only does it sometimes and I can't figure out how to reliably reproduce it.
I've got it like twice since updating to 119 when it released about a month ago which tells you about how often it happens (and I use Mac pretty much all day, I do shut it down over night though)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Cocoa' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
