Steps to reproduce:

T-bird version: 115.4.1
Flatpak

I have the option set to "Open messages in a new tab" and I prefer to work in tabs since it maintains a consistent context to all my work within T-bird. Problem is, when I wish to Compose, Reply or Forward, Thunderbird opens a pop-up window and that is actually frustrating because navigation between apps and windows gets interrupted and becomes quite tedious. This problem would be easily solved if I could Compose, Reply, Forward within new tabs.

Expected results:

This problem would be easily solved if I could Compose, Reply, Forward within new Thunderbird tabs instead of separate pop-up windows.
