2. Open a random video.
3. Notice the status bar. (do not hover over other links)

Expected result

• Status bar is not persisted

Actual result

• As long as other links aren't hovered status bar persists

• Follow-up for bug 1850993
• This issue doesn't reproduce for full screen anymore - fixed by bug 1850993;
• This doesn't reproduce or can be dismissed with the first link that is hovered - afterwhich the status bar works as expected.
