Steps to reproduce:

I had many tabs active.

Actual results:

When I have many tabs active, closing the application can cause newly created tabs to be discarded.

Expected results:

This behaviour shouldn't occur.

In this video , there might be 2 bugs.

1. Before the restart, firefox showsbugzilla.mozilla.org tab. after restarting firefox, this tab disappeared ,showing previous music.apple.com tab.

   This is related to bug 1826214

2. music.apple.com can not fully loaded, the progress bar stuck at about 15%.

   This is related to bug 1806840

The opening tabs are stored in a json file.

There's a chance that you killed the firefox before the opening tabs are written to json file , so the next time you open firefox, the old json file will be loaded. so your newly opened tabs are lost.

The persistence mechanism is not just time based. (It also depends on some attribute/property 's change)
