Found in
- Firefox 122.0b8
Affected versions
- Firefox 122.0b8
- Firefox 121.0.1
- Latest Nightly 123.0a1
Tested platforms
- Affected platforms: Windows 11 and Windows 10, Ubuntu 22.04
- Unaffected platforms: Mac (slider does not move at all when using the scroll wheel)
Steps to reproduce
- Visit any video with audio that has PiP (a video from youtube with a length over 1min is fine)
- Open the video in PiP
- Place the volume cursor at about half in the mini PiP video
- Using the mouse scroll change the volume of the video
Expected result
- Decreasing and increasing the volume of the video is easily done using the mouse scroll.
Actual result
- Decreasing the volume works fine with the scroll wheel but increasing the volume not so much, it moves way to hard to the right side no matter how much one does scroll.
Regression range
- Not a regression, it was introduced implementing bug 1580095
Additional notes
- Not sure why but on Mac the volume slider does not move at all using the scroll wheel.

:bmaris, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?
