Steps to reproduce

  1. Open any website
  2. Look at the tab counter in the tab tray icon, the number should read 10 or more, but I can only read 1 and half of the second number.

Expected behavior

Read the number entirely, without the number count being cutoff.

Actual behavior

Half of the actual number is cut off.

Moving this bug to Toolbar. This has been a longstanding issue with our Toolbar component and will likely be separately resolved when the Toolbar redesign changes are in Nightly.

Mike says the toolbar redesign (meta bug 1859856) will fix this issue. I'm linking the bugs so we remember to test this bug later.

Roger thinks toolbar refactor bug 1892019 will fix this regression.

For this issue, please also make sure redesigned toolbar doesn't have the same problem and the numbering are in the middle of the tabs tray button.. Not related to toolbar redesign. I'll open a new issue for the bug in toolbar redesign.

judging by the screenshot, it's the bug in the current implementation, not in the navigation bar. Are we sure it belongs to the redesign project?

Flags: needinfo?(apandya)

Yes, correct. I didn't report this as a part of the toolbar design project.
