1878543 - Arrow keys do not work in Ctrl-K search box

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:122.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/122.0

Steps to reproduce:

Ctrl-K, and type anything, try to correct error by moving cursor with arrow keys

Actual results:

Nothing.

Expected results:

Cursor moves back and forth on demand with arrow keys to easily correct typing errors. This is normal behaviour in almost everything else for input. Somebody has failed to add that functionality, a simple oversight probably. Home, End and Backspace delete do work. All is good in Ctrl-Shift-K box, and in Ctrl-Shift-F.

can use mouse as a workaround, at a pinch.

True, but inconsistent, illogical and unhelpful. For those of us who prefer keyboard speed, it is more than a trifle.

The above Resolved/Fixed applies to the current Trunk build aka TB 124, which is generally addressed first.

There are separate tracking flags in this bug showing the 115 & 123 are also affected, and these would normally receive backports subsequently, still covered by this bug.
