Steps to reproduce:

I'm using Daily 124.0a1 (2024-02-05) (64-bit) on macOS 14

1. I received an email from Air Canada, and the email failed to parse (see screenshot)

Actual results:

Seems that this email was corrupted.
I right clicked this email, then Save As. The result is saved to thunderbird.eml

Looks that the header of this email was damaged

Right click the email, click Save As in Gmail

Looks that his is the expected email

Fits the symptoms for bug 1872849 exactly.
Folder properties | Repair Folder should work as a workaround.
