Windows 10 OS
beta 123.0b2 and beta 123.0b3 (just updated and retested.)
Open 'Write' compose window.
Set: width of window is equal to or more than the length of the 'To', 'Cc', 'Subject' etc text box outline, so all of the text box outline can be seen.
In compose area type.
Actual and Expected Result
Text entered in the compose area will auto scroll to new line and all text is visible.
TEST:
Set width of window to less than the length of the 'To', 'Cc', 'Subject' etc text box outline, so the far right of text outline box is not seen.
In compose area type.
Actual REsult
Keep typing and suddenly text entered in the compose area does not immediately auto wrap to window width.
Part of the text in compose area is hidden.
It makes you wonder if what you are typing is actually occurring, but it is - you just can't see it and there is no horizontal scroll bar.
But if you keep typing then suddenly it auto appears on next line, but part of text is missing until you make window wide enough.
Expected Result
To, Subject etc text box outline to shrink to allow full display of window OR a minimum window width preset.
Text in compose area should auto wrap to window width and always be fully visible.
Top section shows width of window is wide enough to allow full display of the 'Subject' text box outline.
Text entered in compose area auto scrolls to new line as you type.
This is expected.
Bottom section shows window reduced so is not allowing full display of the Subject Text box outline.
Notice: some text is not being displayed 5.T is shown on right in blue coloured font, but the text that seems to be shown on the left is not an auto scroll to new line. It is actually showing just the end of 6.TB 'notification' in black text. So where is the rest of 5.TB and the start of 6.TB ?
It is actually hidden and only becomes visible when you make the width of window wider again.
